The picture below was taken near the Big Buddha in Hong Kong. The monestary is right around the corner, and by the looks of this place, we're guessing the police don't get much action in this area.

Hi! I stumbled on your blog from the CFHusband blog.
I'm also in China- in Tianjin- and I just wanted to say hi! My husband and I and our 2 daughters moved here (from Arlington, TX) last July (2007), so we are in a similar boat. Although, we have only had MRI's, x-rays, and EEG's done in Chinese hospitals so far, no surgeries in local hospitals! We did have a tonsillectomy, but we went to the international hospital in BJ for it.
